nzcontemporary is a new art / gallery showcase site designed and curated by The Wilderness.

After working with The Wilderness on the MIC rebranding last year, we had a great time helping them assemble another of their stunning clean designs, and we're delighted to see it showing off some of the amazing Aotearoan art on offer.

The Wilderness are experts in producing designs that allow the media on offer - whatever format it takes - to hit the audience with full force.

The site backend uses a friendly CMS to allow easy management of a "gallery of galleries" by The Wilderness staff. Some nifty UI delights allow a tasteful exploration of a huge number of still images of Aotearoan artwork from the best galleries nationwide.
