CiviCRM - CRM for the civic sector

Giant Robot is currently engaged in extending core CiviCRM for one of New Zealand's elected political parties, during the leadup to New Zealand's Election 2008.

That party is using CiviCRM and supporting tools to engage with their campaign team and the general public on a day to day basis, both as a general contact relations tool and as a targetted campaign tool.

CiviCRM by default offers a number of useful facilities tuned to the civic sector for this application. Giant Robot has added a number of additional features and toolkits specific to the needs of this customer, and has been an active CiviCRM community citizen over the past year, ensuring that improvements we make to the codebase are contributed back to the community.

Bespoke CRM Requirements

We're currently working with one of NZ's leading promotions companies, and their day-to-day business requires a high degree of liason between their staff, customers, talent pool, and the venues where the events happen. Their booking systems are well outside the regular demands of an out-of-the-box CRM package, and in association with Codenza we've built a solution which works wonders with the intricacies of their business systems.
